Today after our luncheon at Coffee World (one of our new favorite stops) Aashish took us to visit the new Amnet offices being built. Foundation was just being started but the pictures show what the building should look like. All the workers (men and women) are doing everything by hand. Hand digging, and pulling out rocks by hand, and heavy hauling of cement on their heads. There was no heavy machinery assisting in this project. It was amzing to see. Scheduled completion is December 2010/January 2011, so while we are still here. Oh my goodness we are so excited. The top floor will be all glass windows and it overlooks the river (that is now an open sewer but will be cleaned out to look pretty) and the airport. So at night, we will be able to see all the lights and watch the airplanes come in and take off. Aashish is putting in a café up there as well that serves lunch foods and specialty coffees and beverages. The new office will be a snazzy place. It will be fun to watch this actually happen and be able to move in when it is completed. It sure would be fun to be able to give input too on the café as that has always been a dream.
